Croatia Producer Price Inflation Eases In February

Wednesday, Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the producer price index or PPI increased 2.7% on an annual basis in February, slower than the 3% growth in the previous month. A year earlier, the PPI was up 1.8%.

Producer prices for manufacturing increased 2.5% on an annual basis in February, while mining and quarrying prices rose 0.4%. Producer prices for energy were up 12.6%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI dropped 0.1% in February, in contrast to a 1.3% increase in the previous month.
